Asbestos Survey, Inspection & Removal

Asbestos and asbestos-containing materials (ACMs) were commonly used in buildings built before 1989.

Exposure to asbestos dust during demolition or renovation of buildings can cause fatal lung diseases like asbestosis, mesothelioma, and lung cancer. The diseases usually take 15-30 years to appear after exposure.

Measures should be taken to prevent exposure to asbestos before any building work is carried out.

Inventory of Hazardous Material (IHM)

IHM (Inventory of Hazardous Materials) provides an inventory of hazardous materials contained in a ship's structure or fittings, together with details of their location and quantities.

We perform the IHM inspection, survey and certification as well as keeping the IHM up to date throughout the ship's life cycle, using state-of-the-art software. Such maintenance of the IHM is mandatory for all ships that carry an IHM.
